THE GREAT QUIET + SHIVA BURLESQUE - IPR XLV ANNIVERSARY 7’’ GIFT BAG
Our IPR XLV Anniversary event Gift Bag contains the IPR XLV 7” single (a limited letterpress-printed, numbered edition of 500), an IPR XLV 45 RPM adapter, and an IPR logo sticker. Created to celebrate Independent Project Records' 45th Anniversary celebration in Los Angeles on November 5 & 6, 2025, these Gift Bags were given to all concert ticket holders, with the remaining stock made availabe for sale in the IPR Shoppe for those who were unable to attend.
The 7" single features "Round Valley Walkabout," a transfixing cinematic soundscape by The Great Quiet (IPR founder Bruce Licher with his partner in life and art, Karen Licher) and "Raven (Ascending)," a brand new song by Shiva Burlesque - the band formed in the middle of the '80s by Jeffrey Clark (who’d relaunch IPR together with Licher in 2020) and Grant-Lee Phillips.

The remixed and remastered expanded edition of Whichever Way You Are Going, You Are Going Wrong includes new album cover art and ten previously unreleased bonus tracks presented as a ‘mini’ album. This genre and time-defying selection of songs marked the public’s first exposure to the wild sonic experimentations that brothers Mark Ives and Clive Ives would be known for over the following decades.​

The favorites of a life-time — from Section 25 to The Comsat Angels, from Young Marble Giants to early 4AD singles — are all conjured in the final songs from For Against frontman Jeffrey Runnings. Stark and deadpan on the surface, this is electric guitar music in its most human and vulnerable form. Piqued is available on vinyl (Black or Transparent Magenta), Special Edition CD and digital, and comes with a 4-track EP of rare recordings from the late ‘80s — two of them previously unreleased. This bonus EP is pressed on Clear Silver vinyl at 45 RPM for the color vinyl edition and as bonus tracks on the CD.

Tracks From The Attic
A sumptuous three-album release from IPR
reveals new sides to the Bauhaus and Love and Rockets co-founder,
offering aural, visual and tactile pleasures in the process
Hand-picked by David J himself, this three-volume set was originally released
in a very limited edition as part of Record Store Day’s RSD Black Friday 2023 event,
and is now being made available in a wider, commercial release on vinyl, CD and
through digital distribution services. Featuring solo demos recorded on audio-cassette between 1984 and 2004 the Bauhaus and Love and Rockets co-founder invites listeners
on a most fascinating journey. We’re looking through boxes of tapes, getting reacquainted with an artist we’ve known for a long time - yet, the intimate songs he recorded in solitude over three decades reveal new sides to him. The fact that most of these tunes did not end up becoming beloved classics (something that, once you hit play, your ears will hardly come to terms with) is but a sign of David J’s ever prolific creative state. Tracks From the Attic offers a unique experience that gives equal importance to the aural, the visual and the tactile.
