Booklet pane of 9 letterpress-printed 3-color stamps affixed inside a 4-color letterpress-printed tag board booklet cover. 500 booklets produced in August of 1987.These stamp booklets were created to commemorate Savage Republic’s 1987 European tour. The stamp design was created from a hand-carved linoleum block for the original post card design, then resized on the photocopier and pasted-up by hand to make a printing plate for the stamps. Please note that due to the acidic nature of the tag board stock used for this booklet, that all existing copies will show toning of the tag board, which also affects the pane of stamps (see images).
