3-color letterpress printed oversized envelopes that were used for sending out mail order catalogs. Printed on light brown kraft envelopes from the United Kingdom with stylized “SAVAGE REPUBLIC PACKET POST” inscription at top left, IPR P.O. Box return address across the upper center of the envelope, and a 15 cent Savage Republic Packet Post stamp imprint at lower right. Ornamental imprint and “Another Independent Project Packet” printed on flap. A little over 1300 envelopes were printed in May of 1987, with some overprinted later with a new address (see listing for Version 2 for those overprinted envelopes).
